It is based on linear glycol ether chemistry. Compared to standard non-aromatic plasticisers, it has a better compatibility with medium to polar plastics, especially at low temperature and in contact with organic solvents and oils. Proviplast 0142 is part of a family of new plasticisers which can help in replacing phthalates in current applications. It can be used in nitrile, epichlorohydrine, polychloroprene or other fluorinated rubbers. view less

It is an effective plasticiser for polar and semi-polar plastics, especially for use with high temperature resistance without losing compatibility. It is compatible with polar rubbers and polar rubber copolymers, e.g. acrylic rubbers, nitrile rubbers and epichlorohydrin rubbers. Proviplast 01422 improves the low temperature properties of rubber blends by reducing the glass transition temperature. Due to the higher polarity, it has very good hydrocarbon resistance and a limited extraction in water and glycols. view less
