The emulsion is particularly suitable for production of matt to glossy paints for indoor and outdoor use and for formulations for tile adhesives. The film dries above the film formation temperature to give a clear coating, shows little tendency to swell in water and a high saponification resistance. Because of these properties Liocryl AS 320 is expecially suitable for the production of outdoor paints and plastics-bound plasters as well as for impregnating and priming brickwork and sanding plasters. view less

The emulsion requires solvents for film formation, e.g. 5-6% butylglycol. Combined with PU dispersion LIOPUR 92-091, varnishes can be formulated that meet the requirements for receiving the “blue angel” mark denoting environmentally safe products. The films of AS 610 are clear, hard and have good water resistance, and the necessary abrasion values for parquet floor varnishes (Taber abraser). view less

It is suitable for the formulation of fast drying aqueous 2-pack top coats with high gloss und good chemical resistance. The emulsion requires the addition of coalescents for proper film formation The emulsion film can have a slightly structured surface. This phenomenon does not however appear in formulated coatings, therefore the properties of the coatings (such as gloss or transparency) are not adversely affected. view less

Blended with special Liopur-PU-dispersions, Liocryl AS 680 is particularly suitable for the formulation of 1C coatings with good abrasion resistance and high hardness. Coatings based on these combinations are distinguished by good chemical resistance against ethanol and plasticiser. Used as a sole binder, Liocryl AS 680 has good adhesion properties on plastics such as polystyrene. The resistance against ethanol and petrol is good. view less

It is recommended for use in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates air-drying and oven-drying two-component primers with excellent filling properties, quick drying and good adhesion to steel, aluminium and zinc that give good results in the condensed moisture test and salt spray test. These types of two-component primers are used preferably wherever maximum corrosion resistance and adhesion are required. view less
