It is a solvent free, 100% active product. It imparts mar resistance and better slip to coatings. Siltech® C-20 additive can be used in solvent, water-based or solvent=less systems. It effectively reduces surface tension and provides mar resistance or slip finishes. It also provides other benefits such as leveling, wetting, flow-out and aids pigment dispersion. It is effective at low concentrations. The recommended concentration used is between-% weight percent based on total solids. It should be added during the final thinning step. Preliminary tests in laboratory or a small-scale production unit necessary to obtain optimum results. view less
