Cinkarna Celje was originally engaged in metallurgy, but after 1968 chemical processing became the company’s primary activity, and today its core business is oriented towards the production and marketing of titanium dioxide pigment. Cinkarna Celje is one of the largest chemical-processing companies in Slovenia with exports into demanding global markets accounting for more than 80 percent of total revenue of 150 million euros. These markets include paint and coatings, graphic arts and inks and adhesives and sealants.
RC 8 is a milled, rutile titanium dioxide pigment. This product has not been micronized, but has been lattice-stabilized with aluminum compounds. It can be used in road-marking paints.
