This product is suitable for medium to low polar solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems. It causes an increase in thixotropy. In highly filled systems, the sagging tendency is reduced; in addition, no negative influence on the water sensitivity of the paint film has been observed. When formulated into anti-corrosion primers, the protective properties are enhanced in many instances. view less

It is used in aqueous systems and provides an increase in thixotropy and prevents hard settling of pigments. Due to controlled flocculation mechanism, the use of ANTI-TERRA-250 may lead to a minor gloss reduction. view less
BYK®-154 BYK BYK®-154 is a solution of an ammonium salt of an acrylate copolymer. This product increases gloss, reduces viscosity and provides good storage stability for the system. This product increases gloss, reduces viscosity and provides good storage stability for the system. In combination with a wetting additive, such as DISPERBYK-181 (see data sheet W227) better color acceptance of universal tinters is achieved. BYK-154 does not stabilize foam. view less

It is a solution of an alkylolammonium salt of a lower molecular weight polycarboxylic acid polymer. This product is suitable for both aqueous and solvent-borne systems. When added to the millbase of a white paint, it improves color acceptance and color development. In solvent-based and aqueous coatings DISPERBYK® prevents hard sedimentation. Furthermore, DISPERBYK® improves the effectiveness of pyrogenic silica. The water content may cause problems in epoxy and polyurethane systems. view less
