It increases gloss and gives the coatings a long wave effect. It only causes a minor reduction in surface tension and does not negatively influence the recoatability and intercoat adhesion. This product is suited for high quality pigmented and non-pigmented industrial coatings. BYK®-358 N does not cause turbidity in clear coats or haze in pigmented systems. This additive is thermally stable. view less

It is a polyacrylate that is used to produce a resin masterbatch for powder coatings, especially for clear powder coatings. This product exhibits excellent anti-cratering along with optimum leveling. Fisheyes and pinholes are prevented to produce the best DOI (distinction of image) in the powder coating film. BYK-359 ensures quick and easy incorporation into the binder due to its good compatibility and low product viscosity. view less

This product has a polar structure and therefore pigment wetting is generally improved. BYK-364 P, especially in TGIC-alternative powder coating systems, will improve DOI (distinction of image) and reduce pinholes at the surface of the coating. BYK-364 P also improves leveling of powder coatings systems and prevents "orange peel“. Additionally, BYK-364 P prevents other surface defects specific to powder coating such as craters and fisheyes. BYK-364 P is an OH-functional additive which can be crosslinked with a suitable binder into the coating system. view less
