It increases the viscosity of binders in solvent borne systems and causes pseudoplastic rheology. LA THIX FB acts only on binders containing ester-, hydroxyl- or other functional groups, which are able to form hydrogen bonds. Polar solvents may have an influence on the effectiveness. This product is applied in thickening of all common solvent containing binder systems with polar groups.
