This product is biodegradable and is mainly used in solvent containing systems based on alkyds, alkyd/melamine, nitrocellulose combinations and polyesters. It is composed of modified phenol derivative and methyl ethyl ketoxime (Meko) in solvent mixture with a component promoting wetting. This product is a clear to slightly turbid, light brownish liquid. view less

It can be use in almost all common paint systems, both water based and solvent based as well. This product has the following properties: stabilisation of viscosity against air oxidation, prevention of skinning, improved wetting, prevention of settlement, reduction of dispersing time, reworking of thickened batches, removal of floatation phenomena, and promotion of flow and gloss. The stabilisation is based on the oxygen binding properties of the antioxidant. The wetting component of ANTIGEL® KF-D reduces the interfacial tension between the usually hydrophilic pigments and the hydrophobic binder. The pigments are well distributed resulting an optimum depth of colour. Dispersion time, floatation phenomena and sedimentation are reduced and gloss is increased. Sedimentation is largely avoided. Because of the excellent wetting, optimum depth of colour is achieved. view less
