It is a solution of a hydroxyfunctional carboxylic acid ester with pigment affinic groups. This product was especially developed for solvent-borne architectural paints to stabilize titanium dioxide, extenders and other inorganic and organic pigments. Often the extender content can be increased without losing gloss. Mill-base viscosity is reduced drastically. White base paints stabilized with DISPERBYK®-107 have better color acceptance and do not demonstrate flooding and floating when tinted with universal colorants. DISPERBYK®-107 is suitable for the formulation of pigment concentrates based on long oil alkyds. view less |
