Octolite 647 is a yellow to tan aqueous dispersion of polymeric quinoline derivative. This general-purpose semi-staining antioxidant is frequently used in latex compounding to impart high temperature resistance. It also improves ozone resistance of many polymers. It is non-blooming and of high durability. This product is typically used as a rubber antioxidant stabilizer for natural, butadiene, chloroprene, and nitile latex. Octolite 647 is also used as a corrosion inhibitor and preservative (it retards oxidation, deterioration, and rancidity).
