BEETLE® PT746 - Neutral Cure Wet Strength Resin

PT746 is a cationic, low AOX/DCP polyamide epichlorohydrin resin. Though specifically designed for the production of wet strengthened papers by wet-end application to the paper machine, the special characteristics of BEETLE resin PT746 yields a versatile, multifunctional product, useful in other applications and areas of the paper-making process. PT746 is used to impart wet strength in the production of a wide variety of papers based upon all cellulosic or all synthetic furnishes, or blends of both fibre types, when used under neutral to alkaline conditions. Higher dry strength often results from the use of PT746, particularly where high or all synthetic fibre furnishes are involved.
