In automatic diswashing products, Gantrez S-95 polymer replaces phosphates resulting in spot -free surfaces. The free acid forms are water-soluble, giving clear and tacky films. Solution rheology can be modified by the addition of salts and bases. Gantrez polymers act as highly effective chelating agents for iron, magnesium, zinc and calcium ions; are excellent film formers and enhance hydrophilicity of surfaces. In hard surface cleaners, Gantrez S-97 polymer provides anti-fog properties and promotes long-lasting streak-free surfaces. Gantrez S-97 BF polymer is a white powder.
