Achieving excellent deflocculation and stabilization requires an additive with highly efficient pigment-affinic groups. In general, those pigment-affinic groups are aminic in nature and can react with the epoxy resins. Due to the special hyperbranched structure of DISPERBYK®-2152 the aminic pigment-affinic groups are encapsulated by polyester side chains; this prevents reaction with the epoxy resin, and, as a result, long-term storage stability is achieved. The additive contains no solvents or volatile components and fulfills the strict requirements of the German AgBB as well as French VOC standards view less
