Desmophen T 1775 SN is an oil free, hydroxyl-bearing polyester that is used in the formulation of lightfast one-component polyurethane baking coatings with blocked aliphatic polyisocyanates. It is binder certified for use in food-contact applications for the formulation of can coatings for food packaging. This product has a non-volatile content (2g resin/2ml toluene/1h 125°C/convection oven) of 75 ± 2%, a density at 20°C of approx. 1.08g/ml, and a viscosity at 23°C of 3,700 ± 600 mPa·s. Desmophen T 1775 SN was developed specially as a co-reactant for blocked polyisocyanates in coilcoating applications. When combined with preferably Desmodur BL 4265, it yields one-component polyurethane coilcoatings with a balanced hardness/flexibility ratio, good resistance to scratching and abrasion as well as excellent QUV/B stability. Dibutyltin dilaurate has proved suitable as the catalyst. The addition should be 0.1–1 %, calculated on the solid binder. The product can be combined with other blocked isocyanates and HMMM-type amino resins. However, such formulations do not generally achieve the same high surface hardness as is achieved with Desmodur BL 4265. view less
Desmodur® VP LS 2257 is a blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate based on HDI. It can be used in combination with OH-functional polyols, preferably Desmophen® T-grade OH-functional polyesters, in the formulation of lightfast, one-component polyurethane baking coatings, especially in coil and can coating applications. This product has a non-volatile content (0.2g / 60min / 80°C) of approx. 70%, a viscosity at 23°C of approx. 2,300 mPa·s, and a color value (Hazen/APHA) of ≤ 100. Desmodur® VP LS 2257 was developed as the hardener for lightfast one-compnent polyurethane coatings whose stoving temperature can be reduced by the addition of a catalyst, e.g. 0.3 - 1.0% dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTL), without adversely affecting the storage stability of the ready-to-use coating...view more

Desmophen® T 1665 SN/IB is an oil-free, hydroxyl-bearing, saturated polyester that is used in combination with amino or crosslinking baking urethane resins in the formulation of baking coatings such as primers, automotive primer surfacers, coilcoatings and general industrial coatings with very good weather stability. This product has a density at 20°C (solvent-free) of approx. 1.17g/ml, a hydroxyl content (theoretical) of approx. 1.17%, and an OH equivalent weight (supply form) of approx. 1,000. view less
