It prolongs the open time and reduces the cracking of emulsion paints, organo silicate and silicone resin based mortars. This product shows improved storage stability and lower emulsifier content. When incorporated into plasters, Loxanol® OT 5840 prolongs the workable time. This allows a uniform structure to be maintained during the application period. It gives the mortar a pliable structure and also prevents cracking due to its plasticizing effect. It has no effect on the water absorbtion. view less | |
