It is a medium reactive modified polyester resin, preferably used for wood applications. Due to the high network density, coatings based on Laromer® PR 9052 show a high hardness and scratch resistance after curing. In combination with aluminium oxide Laromer® PR 9052 shows very good abrasion resistance according to S42. It is a water-based UV-curable acrylic dispersion. Laromer® WA 9057 has been developed for pigmented and unpigmented primers and topcoats for wooden furniture and plastics. This low- to medium-viscosity liquid can be applied by means of curtain coating and spraycoating in high speed coating equipment. Since Laromer® WA 9057 has good physical drying properties, it is suitable for 3D objects where shadow areas are insufficienlty cured. After physical drying, coatings based on Laromer® WA 9057 give tack free films in shadow areas after UV-curing films with good chemical resistance as well as good scratch resistance and low yellowing are obtained. view less |
