It is a solvent-free, colourless to yellowish liquid of medium viscosity at temperatures above 20°C that crystallises at lower temperatures. This product has an NCO content of 23.0 ± 0.5%, a viscosity at 25°C of 600 ± 100 mPa·s, a hydrolysable chlorine (Cl) amount of max. 50mg/kg, and a density at 25°C of approx. 1.21g/cm^3. Desmodur® VL is combined with, for example, Desmophen® 1145, 1150, 1155, 5028 GT and 1380 BT. Depending on the Desmophen® product used, the coatings yielded can be varied from hard to flexible.
