Borchers® AF 0871

Borchers® AF 0871 is a 20% emulsion of a modified organo polysiloxane. It effectively prevents foam formation during the dispersion and grinding processes and is designed to destroy stabilized foam lamellae in water-based coatings. It is easily dilutable with water and efficient in most polymer dispersions. It is particularly suitable for highly filled pigmented systems and pigment pastes grinding. The efficiency is independent of the curing mechanism.

Borchers® AF 0871 increases density during manufacturing process and application. It provides homogenous film built after application. It has been designed for use in water based emulsions and water-thinnable systems. The efficiency is proven in chemically curing systems based on polyurethanes (including acrylate modification) and acrylates (also hydroxyl bearing polyacrylates).
