DOUBLEMER® 413P

DOUBLEMER® 413P is a cycloaliphatic epoxide oligomer that is characterized by its high curing speed, low viscosity, and cycloaliphatic epoxide oligomer, which undergoes rapid polymerization when exposed to UV light in the presence of a photoinitiator. This generates a cationic catalyst. Onium salt photoinitiators are used to produce the cationic species on exposure to UV light, while remaining stable in the absence of UV light.

Formulations containing DOUBLEMER® 413P, along with other epoxide resins and polyol modifiers can provide a range of cured film properties. Coatings containing DOUBLEMER® 413P generally have excellent toughness, solvent resistance, and good adhesion to a variety of substrates, including metals and plastics.
