Chisorb® 5494 is a novel UV stabilizer that consists of a monomeric, high molecular weight stabilizer, Chisorb® 519 and coadditives. It features an outstanding pesticide/insecticide resistance. Chisorb® 5494 is especially effective in agricultural film applications, whenever crop protection chemicals can be a threat for the film duration.
Chisorb® 5494 is designed to provide long-term stabilization to agricultural films in countries with high solar irradiation, even when high concentrations of chemicals such as pesticides, insecticides or soil disinfection agents are present. Chisorb® 5494 also shows exceptional performance as a long-term antioxidant. This behavior is especially useful where films are in contact with frames (wood, iron, aluminum).
