R-Modified Petroleum Resin (C9) (R-110) is yellow to light brown transparent flakes and a low molecular weight thermoplastic aromatic resin developed from petroleum derived C9 fraction through a thermal-polymerization technique. This product has good and mutual solubility, water resistance, insulation, chemical stability over acid and alkali, adhesive strength, and low heat conduction. It can be used in synthetic hot melt adhesives with a softening point between 100-110°C.
