SAFIC-CHEM A18

SAFIC-CHEM A18 is particularly suitable as grinding resin for the manufacture of tinting pastes or pigment preparations. This aldehyde resin is very heat stable and has very wide compatibility with other resins, good light fastness, good pigment-wetting properties, and aliphatic hydrocarbon resistance. SAFIC-CHEM A18 is also used as a co-binder with nitrocellulose, alkyd, or polyurethane resins in order to improve the hardness, gloss, flexibility, and yellowing resistance of the paint film. It exhibits excellent solubility in alcohols, ketones, esters, and aromatic hydrocarbons.
