Desmodur® Z 4470 SN is an aliphatic polyisocyanate (IPDI trimer), with approx. 70 % in solvent naphtha® 100. It is used as the hardener component for lightfast polyurethane coating systems and as an additive resin for alkyd spray coatings. This product has a viscosity at 23°C of 2,000 ± 600 mPa·s, a viscosity at 25°C of approx. 1,700 mPa·s, and a density at 20°C approx. 1.05g/ml.
On account of its high hardness, Desmodur® Z 4470 SN is normally mixed with Desmodur® N products. Preferred co-reactants are flexibilised polyacrylate polyols such as Desmophen® A 565 and A 575 and polyester polyols such as Desmophen® 670. As Desmodur® Z 4470 SN has very good physical drying properties, it is also used as an additive resin in alkyd spray coatings to accelerate drying. The main applications of such coatings are in automotive refinishing and industrial finishing.

Lists combine the ease of Bookmarks with the versatility of Tags. Instead of one collection of bookmarked items, create as many collections, called "Lists," as you need.
Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
