Dekluron is high purity sodium hyaluronate with a high molecular weight. Sodium hyaluronate / hyaluronic acid, is an important compound in the human body, present in many human tissues. It plays a very important role in the protection of cells, maintaining tissue integrity and moisture retention. High molecular weight sodium hyaluronate is important in the skin, where it can modify the mechanical properties – with a ‘scaffolding’ action – and increase hydration. High-MW hyaluronate has anti-inflammatory properties in addition.
