It can be used in the formulation of highly flexible one- and two-component polyurethane coatings and adhesives. It can also be used as a binder for flexible aggregates, roof and concrete sealers and rubber granules. This product has an NCO content of 8.6 ± 0.3%, a viscosity at 23°C of 2,800 ± 400 mPa·s, and an equivalent weight of 472-506. Desmodur® E 22 is suitable for the flexibilization of Desmodur® E 21/E 23 or similar products and as a binder for rubber granules. Desmodur® E 22 is also suitable for use in the formulation of solvent-free moisture-curing one-component adhesives or in combination with Baycoll to formulate two-component adhesives. These can be used to bond many materials, e.g. wood, metal and plastic. verkürzen
DMPA® Dimethylolpropionic Acid GEO Specialty Chemicals, Inc. TRIMET Products Group DMPA® Dimethylolpropionic Acid unique and versatile hindered diol molecule with both hydroxyl and carboxy functionality. DMPA is an odourless, free flowing white crystalline solid which provides superior advantages in the formulation and processing of water soluble resins. This product has a neutralization equivalent of 141.0 max., a decomposition temperature of 230°C, and a water insolubles amount of 50.0ppm max. The neopentyl structure of this trifunctional compound, having two primary hydroxyl groups and one tertiary carboxylic group, permits simplified processing by allowing the combining of all reactants in a single kettle charge. Good control of the reaction is possible due to the slower esterification rate of the tertiary carboxyl, assuring a uniform distribution of carboxyl groups along the resin backbone. The free acid group actively promotes resin water solubility or water dispersibility after neutralization with a base, easily introduces a polar group to improve coating...weiterlesen DMPA® Dimethylolpropionic Acid unique and versatile hindered diol molecule with both hydroxyl and carboxy functionality.
