Elvacite® 2041 is a high molecular weight methyl methacrylate polymer. It is used in many coatings applications to provide maximum abrasion resistance, block resistance, and slip. This product is nonreactive, which permits its use in many reactive systems to reduce shrinkage and control viscosity. It can be applied to spray lacquers for plastics.
