SM-1035®/CA is a food antimicrobial based on lactic acid (E-270), citric acid (E-330) and essential oils of plants stabilized in water. Propylene glycol (E-1520) and glycerine (E- 422) are added as excipients, and sulphite ammonia caramel (E-150d) as colorant. It can be used as antimicrobial agent and it is specially recommended for the external treatment of meat products by spraying or immersion.
