Busan® 1078 is a combination of two isothiazalone derivatives that can provide broad-spectrum micro-organism control in water-based coatings, adhesives, and architectural materials. It is a non foaming, water-based product that is readily bio degradable. Busan® 1078 is particularly recommended for control of bacteria and wet-stage fungi in water-based coatings, latices, adhesives, spackling, grouting, caulks, joint cements, and mastices. This biocide is also useful in controlling bacteria and wet-stage fungi in the manufacture and storage of dispersed pigments, such as clay, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, etc.
