Bayhydrol® UV 2280

Bayhydrol® UV 2280 is a urethane acrylate dispersion. It is supplied as approximately 39% solids dispersion in water. It may be used in the formulation of aqueous UV-curing coatings, especially for applica- tion on wood/wood materials. Generally speaking, the coated surfaces can be sanded before UV curing. Additions of 1.0 to 2.5% by weight photoinitiator, calculated on the solid binder, have proved suitable for initiating the curing reaction.
